Recombinant human serum albumin(rHSA)

Albumin is an essential for proper functioning of blood cells, and for maintaining homeostasis.  Albumin has historically been isolated and purified from blood.  However, safety concerns have significantly increased the demand for recombinant albumin.   
In a first for the Republic of Korea, Genecell Biotech Inc.  has established a safe technology for mass production of recombinant albumin without the need for pathogens during the production process.  our unique system uses plant cells and the AmyRC² production platform, and is currently undergoing non-clinical tests.
